First off, we'll go with capitalization, but not so much because I'm taking myself seriously as for readability. See? Isn't that better?
As for the direction thing, I think I'm going to focus on what I have first-hand experience with (and expertise in?) and link to other interests from there. That means this blog is going to be about Christianity, its relation with media, politics, technology, and other religions. Here are some post topics I can think of off the top of my head:
1. Christian groups and other NGOs should be embraced by the Chinese government because they provide social support services as the government reduces its role.
2. Christians should speak out evenly in political debates; not only supporting Republican causes but also Democratic causes as well, such as environmental protection.
3. Pro-life also means opposing the death penalty.
4. Introspection on stem cells, euthanaisa and other sometimes morally ambiguous issues.
5. How Christianity is covered in the media: Is "fundamentalist" a good label?
6. What the Internet and digital technology means for Christianity. For instance, what does artificial intelligence mean?
I think there is a lot to talk about here which will be of interest to Christians especially.
