I got the job!

After a couple weeks filled paradoxically with both anxiety and faith, I received this message in my email inbox today:
"Hello Tyson,

I'm happy to reach the point where I hope we can discuss an offer of employment for you with us at ******* *************. We would be thrilled to have you join us, and here are the details on what would be included in the offer and also info on the current benefit plan ..."
They gave me exactly the salary I asked for, which I admit made me think I ought to have asked for more, but "if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that."

Thank God He provides for us everything we need. He is truly my Provider! I told God that if He gives us good jobs so we can buy a house, then we will use those resources (money, home, etc) to serve Him. I believe God will honor that request, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 9:10: "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness."

What a wonderful praise! Another fellow blogger, Stephanie, just got accepted to missions in Jamaica, where she's been led. She also has had an answer to prayer.

Hey man, I really dig your blog.
I am a musician and I would be honored if you would check out my site too.
