Ah, Seattle ...

It's rained at least one every day for the last 25 days ... and counting. Actually, I don't really mind it for several reasons. First, it's not as cold. I feel as though the sky is a big blanket. Second, it's nice for meditative melancholy. I could list more reasons, but I guess it's lost on those who didn't grow up here.

ewwwwwwww I hate prolonged gloom. I guess we all like what we're used to, though, huh?

well, that's what differentiates us washingtonians, i guess. it is very strange to see the sun nowadays. however, most people i know here aren't affected emotionally--the exception is my wife, who is spending her first winter in seattle this year.

day 27 ... and counting. the record is 33 consecutive rainy days.
