I was reading the print version of yesterday's Wall Street Journal when I came across a Harry Potter review that said the last book was full of Christian allusions. For proof, the author cited two parts in the book that quoted from the Bible, and then went on to say that the quotations were from Matthew and 1 Corinthians. Reading them, I knew immediately that either the author or the editor mixed things up, cause "Where your treasure is, your heart will be also" is in Matthew. The article said it was in 1 Corinthians. Anyway, when getting the link for the online version today, I saw there was a correction posted at the bottom.
It just reminded me of how much ignorance about the Bible there is out there. Like the time one of my English literature professors at the University of Washington got Psalm 23 and The Lord's Prayer confused. Not a biggie, except that he was highly derogatory of Christians when he was saying it.
