New spiritual yearning on U.S. college campuses

Is God dead? Maybe for their parents' generation, but for today's college students, God is both real and very near, according to this New York Times article:
"Across the country, on secular campuses as varied as Colgate University, the University of Wisconsin and the University of California, Berkeley, chaplains, professors and administrators say students are drawn to religion and spirituality with more fervor than at any time they can remember."

I find this to be true. Students are more open in both talking and writing about their beliefs than they used to be. God is doing a new thing.
