How can anyone dread Heaven, thinking it'll be boring for eternity? One of my English professors thought so, preferring the clash and conflict of this world. That's a pale, distorted image of the true adventure we desire in the deepest part of our hearts, which partially explains the appeal of heroic fantasies like Lord of the Rings and Narnia. Please visit Amy's Marvellous Light blog and get to know this lovely Singaporean!
Wayfaring Stranger is an American folk song that refers to Christians' temporary presence in this world. But while I may travel this world as a stranger, I am not lost; I follow Jesus and my destination is in heaven.

Introducting a new blog from an old friend
Hey, everyone! I'm happy to announce a beautifully written new blog from my old friend Amy, who's also an occassional commenter here. She's only got three posts, but they read like precious little prayers. Here's Amy recently on the topic of Heaven:

Hey a big Thank-You, TS!!
Your own blog was like a seed of creativity for me. : ) Also my pastor asked God for a release of imagination in our midst so I prayed to write again.
Will be embellishing my blog, which I hope will be one more little path for seekers who don't even realize we're born seeking, yearning and desiring! Fun stuff also on the way!
