This is my first YouTube clip. It was pretty simple. I used a Creative webcam and microphone you can buy for less than $50, signed up for a YouTube account, recorded myself singing a song, uploaded the file, and VIOLA! Instant celebrity!
In this video, I'm singing Keith Green's "O Lord, You're Beautiful," but with the full lyrics. When I first discovered the "missing" lyrics, I was stunned. They really illustrate a longing to serve God fully.
Oh Lord, You're beautiful
Your face is all I seek
For when your eyes are on this child
Your faith abounds to me
Oh Lord, my body's tired
But you keep reminding me
Of many Holy tireless men
Who split their blood for Thee
I wanna take Your word and shine it all around
But first help me just to live it Lord
And if I'm doing good help me to never seek a crown
Except to give all the glory to You.
Oh Lord, my faith is small
And I need a touch from You
Your Book of Books lies undisturbed
And the prayers from me too few.
Oh Lord please light the fire
That once burned bright and clear
Replace the lamp of my first love
That's fueled with Holy fear

Oh, crap. I guess this isn't as easy as I thought. I have to find some capture software that will record both video and audio.
Ok, should be fixed now.
ohhh.. this was the video with the 1.2 million hits... ;-)
hey nice to see you in person. a video is worth a thousand pictures... :-)
Thanks, Bipen. I agree ... video is a very powerful medium. Who knows? Maybe I'll start producing some amateur short clips of the life of Christ!
I finally got to see this--it's a wonderful way to share Christ! It's easy to see the effect that this song has on you, and I think that will be communicated to anybody. The Internet is a medium that I believe we are called to use; I want to encourage you to do more of this.
