Wayfaring Stranger is an American folk song that refers to Christians' temporary presence in this world. But while I may travel this world as a stranger, I am not lost; I follow Jesus and my destination is in heaven.

Why YouTube is an excellent opportunity for Christian "propaganda"
This nice little clip was made by TheJudLovesGod on April 13. He probably spent a couple hours writing the peom, then an hour more recording the video, dubbing the music, and posting it on YouTube. The clip has been viewed by 2,438 people and garnered 108 comments.
That's an amazing reach for minimum effort.
YouTube is like Blogger in that the sites depend on user-contributed content. People spend lots of time on these types of sites sharing ideas. And video, like no other medium, makes those ideas powerful. Imagine if this guy simply wrote his poem on his blog or only recorded the audio--the effect wouldn't be the same, right?
Anyway, that's why I believe new Web technologies (some call them Web 2.0) are a great opportunity for Christians.

it was interesting reading the comments. teenage girls who want to date him, and hateful guys who're cursing at him.
Hi Mercy,
Glad you can stop by my blog. I agree that the poem is very nice. I also would like to take time and think up some "spoken word" poetry similar to what this guy did. I think it's a great way to get people to listen to the message.
