Public records reveal that as Gore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. (He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself.A little caveat to this post: I believe global warming is a serious problem, as is our country's oil dependency. I even think $5 per gallon of gasoline isn't such a bad idea. That said, Al Gore is a hypocrite.
Wayfaring Stranger is an American folk song that refers to Christians' temporary presence in this world. But while I may travel this world as a stranger, I am not lost; I follow Jesus and my destination is in heaven.
