It's not random, it's programmed
MIT professor and quantum computing pioneer Seth Lloyd has an interview with Technology Review, in which he explains his idea that the universe is a huge quantum computer that continually generates more information.

i was totally digging this article till i came to the last question. the answer came out of left field.. you could have given an advance warning of it... ;-)
but you know what's funny? that scientist doesn't really back up his statement about heaven's nonexistence at all ... he just blithely assumes it doesn't exist.
... hm ... ok, that's not really funny after all, i guess. sort of sad, actually. but it is funny how scientists can be so wildly speculative about some things, yet so blind to the evidence right in front of their noses (see romans chapter 1)!!
